Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to make a sauna?

In most cases, the production of a sauna takes 4-8 weeks from the final approval of the order.

For larger or individual projects (e.g. two rooms, a terrace, atypical solution), a longer deadline should be expected.

Important: most customers decide on a sauna several months before the season, so we recommend starting early.

Is the sauna delivered complete or in parts?

It depends on the specific situation and access to the land:

  • Complete sauna - if it is possible to transport it to the site (crane, access), we will deliver it as a whole.
  • On-site assembly - if it is not possible to transport the sauna (narrow driveway, slope, garden), we will build it directly in your garden.

The second option is very common and is one of our main advantages - the customer does not have to stress about logistics.

What is included in the price of the sauna?

The price always depends on the configuration, but as standard it includes:

  • complete sauna construction (walls, roof, benches)
  • sauna stove (wood or electric)
  • doors, windows, basic equipment
  • assembly (by arrangement)

Expansion options:

  • terrace, hall, lounge
  • better materials (e.g. thermowood)
  • accessories (lighting, stones, design elements)

Our philosophy is not the "cheapest sauna", but the best balance of quality, space and experience.

How complicated is the installation?

From the customer's perspective, installation is simple - we handle most of the work for you.
What you need to prepare:

  • flat and solid base (paving, concrete, footings)
  • access to the land
  • for electric stoves, electricity supply

The assembly itself:

  • usually takes 1-3 days
  • takes place without major interventions in the garden

Installation concerns are among the most common - that's why we will explain everything in advance and set it up so that the process is stress-free.

What are the operating costs of a sauna?

Operating costs mainly depend on the type of sauna heater:

Wood-fired sauna:

  • Approximately 1–2 armloads of firewood per sauna session.
  • Very low operating costs (typically only a few euros per session).

Electric sauna:

  • Power consumption: approximately 6–9 kW.
  • One sauna session typically costs around CZK 50–120, depending on electricity prices and heating time.

Compared to public wellness centres, a home sauna is significantly more cost-effective in the long run—and, most importantly, it is available whenever you want to use it.

What size sauna should I choose?

This is one of the most important questions—and also one of the most common mistakes people make.

A simple rule applies: an extra 20 cm (8 inches) can make a significant difference to your sauna experience.

Smaller saunas are less expensive, but they also have some drawbacks:

  • Less comfortable to lie down in.
  • Poorer heat circulation.
  • Less comfortable seating.

Many customers tell us afterwards that, if they were choosing again, they would opt for a larger sauna.

How do I recognize a high-quality sauna?

The difference between a “nice-looking” sauna and a high-quality one lies in the details:

  • Construction (strength and wall thickness)
  • Width and comfort of the benches
  • Placement of the heater and air circulation
  • Quality of materials (wood, joints, finishes)
  • Details such as hidden joints, edge finishing, and overall craftsmanship

That is why we recommend seeing the sauna in person – the difference becomes immediately obvious.

Why should you get your own sauna?

Customers most often mention:

  • Relaxation and recovery after work or sports
  • Privacy – no need to travel to a wellness centre
  • Regular use (2–3 times a week)
  • Improved quality of life

And very often also the fact that it was a long-term dream they have finally fulfilled.

What does the entire process look like, from inquiry to installation?

  1. Contact / inquiry
  2. Consultation and design proposal
  3. Option to see the sauna in person
  4. Final quotation
  5. Production
  6. Installation

The entire process usually takes 1–2 months.

Is it possible to customize the sauna?

Yes – and that is one of the main advantages.

We can customize:

  • Dimensions
  • Number and width of benches
  • Type of heater
  • Materials
  • Accessories (terrace, relaxation area, windows)
  • Each sauna is essentially a bespoke, individual project.
