How many rooms should your outdoor barrel sauna have?
One room for the undemanding
A barrel sauna – it almost sounds like there’s not much to choose from, yet the opposite is true, there are endless options! Choose a one-room sauna if there is a cosy place available nearby to relax in between the sauna rounds, for example a garden bench with a table to enjoy your favourite drink. If there isn’t such a place available, including a second room in your sauna for relaxing is a must. Three rooms come in handy if you want a compact barrel sauna including a shower. There are many options!
Another important property to consider is the number of people to seat in the sauna. Are you a private person? Do your friends visit often? Maybe you own a pension and you’d like to include a blissful place for your guests to enjoy. When choosing a sauna, those things have to be borne in mind.
More usages to an outdoor barrel sauna
The barrel sauna can also be used as a tool storage, or a toy house for your children. All you have to do is choose a barrel with a sauna entrance on one side, and another entrance to the (extra)ordinary room you can use as you wish on the other.
