At the moment we offer outdoor saunas of 4 different shapes: round, oval, square and octagonal. What are the main differences between them? Of course the most obvious difference is design, but this part is more about taste preferences. But actually functionality is very important either. All different shapes can be divided into 3 major categories according to their functions:

Those small saunas are most suitable for private use. It has enough space for up to 4 people. It also can be used as an overnight sleeping spot.

This type of saunas are spacious, so you can expect more comfortable heat bathing compared to the ones of the first category, especially if you go there with your friends. Most of big barrel saunas actually have not one, but two rooms: a full sitting room inside with a second interior door to enter the main sauna room. Some of them may even have shower. Large space allows also to arrange internal rooms according to your needs.

First, a stove in these saunas can be places either in the middle or in the corner of the room. Manipulations with a stove will make the space even bigger, so more people could lay down for relaxing and taking sauna benefits.

Another advantage is the possibility to install benches of a different height.

Some modifications of these saunas also have not front, but side entrance, so designed in a way that you can use the most out of space and most importantly, when someone leaves, they do not put heat out of the main sauna room.

Oval saunas

This category of saunas has even better designed space than those mentioned above. Oval saunas are huge, around 14.7 ft wide, they can be up to 16 ft long. The size of the sauna is more than enough for a proper mobile relaxing spot.
